Brazil football team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has said that his side would cope without injured star striker Neymar when they face Germany in their World Cup semifinal on Tuesday.

Scolari said that the Brazilian squad is fully focus on the task at hand, adding that Neymar, who has scored four of Brazil's eight goals at the tournament, has done his share and now it is up to them to do their share.

According to the BBC, Scolari said that they have accepted what has happened and are focusing on other things as Neymar suffered a fractured vertebra in the 2-1 quarterfinal win over Colombia and would play no further part in the World Cup.

The coach also said that in this match Brazil would be playing not just for themselves and everything they have ever dreamed of, but also for Neymar and everything the striker has done for the team.

Meanwhile, Scolari has not revealed who would replace Neymar, saying that he knows the starting line-up and when they walk on the field one will see why he made those choices.

Scolari added that he would tell the Brazilian people that Brazil is doing its best and doing what they think is necessary.

The coach further added that sometimes this is not in a very beautiful way but they are moving forward one step at a time towards the final.
