A screaming youth reportedly tried to smash up the door of Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers' female friend's house with a cricket bat while he had been visiting her.
The man reportedly pulled up in a car, while honking his horn, outside Charlotte Hind's house and started hurling abuses while Rodgers had been visiting her.
A neighbor said that the man pulled up outside and kept blowing the horn, then he got out of it and took a new bat out of the boot of the car, the Mirror reported.
The neighbor said that Rodgers came out of the window asking the man to leave but the young man shouted at the Liverpool boss to get 'f***ing' well down the front gate.
Hind's neighbor added that when the man got no response he smashed the door and gave it a couple of whacks, adding that he then went to the back door.
The neighbor said that he feels the man damaged the back door too, but then he came back round, shouting.
