The security arrangements for the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections are underway for the polls that are going to be conducted today.
The political contest at the Delhi University has always been between Congress affiliated National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and BJP's Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
This year the election will be a multi-cornered fight with two new groups - the AAP backed Chatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) and the Students Union of India (SOI), the student wing of Shiromani Akali Dal entering the fight.
