A man wearing a Superman costume became a real-life superhero after he caught hold of a thief.
Luke Junior was entertaining children at a charity event in Sheffield, England, in his red and blue cape, when he spotted a shoplifter running out of a frozen food store being chased by staff, the Daily Express reported.
Families attending the charity day cheered him as he caught him and handed over to the police.
Luke, an off-duty security officer, was helping out at the Gleadless Valley Community Action Group day in Sheffield, to raise money for a skate park.
Luke joked that the last thing a thief wants to do is run straight into Superman.
