Selena Gomez is moved and inspired be her recent UNICEF Trip to Nepal, it has been revealed.
The 'Come and Get It' singer said that her visit to Nepal was extraordinarily powerful and at times it was disturbing and heartbreaking, but it was also incredibly inspiring, Us Magazine reported.
The former Disney star said that at first when one witnessed children that lived in extreme poverty, one would think how it was possible that the children could be deprived of their basic human needs and rights and then one could see hope, promise, and a bright future after talking to these children.
The 21-year-old singer bonded with kids at the Satbariya Rapti Secondary School and also visited with UNICEF-supported female community health volunteers in Gangaparaspur Village to learn about their efforts to reduce illness among children and their mothers.
Gomez also met several girls who were recruited into the armed conflict that ended eight years ago and have since reintegrated back into their lives and families.
