A new self-help website has been launched, which aims to help those who are prone to stress, self-esteem slumps, and mood swings.
According to TechCrunch, 'Happify' plans to "bring the latest scientific advancements in positive psychology and positive neuroscience to consumers in the form of games, activities, and exercises", the New York Daily News reported.
The site, which was launched with the mission to optimize well-being of people, already has 100,000 members.
Ofer Leidner and Andy Parsons, who are co-founders of the site, said that the site's features are based on more than a decade's research work from the Universities of Pennsylvania, Harvard and Stanford.
Leidner said that their site has partnered with leading scientists in the field, engagement designers and marketers, in order to create an experience that will help people develop emotional skills shown by the scientists for greater well-being.
