Jammu and Kashmir's Minister for Public Health Engineering and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma, has tendered his resignation from the Omar Abdullah-led government in the state.
According to reports, Sharma met Jammu and Kashmir's Congress chief Saif-ud-din Soz last night and handed over his resignation.
The Congress leader cited alleged interfereence with regularisation of daily wagers as a reason for tendering his resignation.
However, the National Conference denied the charge as a political stunt ahead of announcement of elections in the state.
