Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova has chosen former Dutch player Sven Groeneveld as her new coach, whose 20 odd years experience on both the ATP and WTA tours has been notable.
According to TennisWorldUSA.org, in the past, Groeneveld has worked with Michael Stitch, Mary Pierce, Monica Seles and Ana Ivanovic to name a few.
Sharapova said that she and Groeneveld have been working together since she got back on court, training for the new season ahead, according to the report.
She added that she was happy to announce her official partnership with Sven Groeneveld and was exited to his have been become a part of her team after seeing him on the opposing side for so many years.
