Sharapova, Nadal blasts way to fourth round of Oz Open

World number two Maria Sharapova breezed past Kazakhstan opponent Zarina Diyas in straight sets to stroll into the fourth round of the Australian Open in Melbourne.

The five-time grand slam champion required only an hour to thrash Diyas 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the next round of the first grand slam of the year.

On the other hand, in the men's singles, World number three Rafael Nadal eased to the next round with a 6-1, 6-0, 7-5 victory over his Israeli opponent Dudi Sela.
