Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced Rs180 billion package for exporters in order to give a boost to exports.
Sharif was addressing the Prime Minister's Trade Enhancement Conference in Islamabad.
Urging media organisations across Pakistan to refrain from misguiding the masses, the Prime Minister said that he believes in freedom of press but at the same time he also believes in healthy criticism.
"The government's flaws should be pointed out so we can amend our mistakes, however, the motive of media houses should not be to only criticise and demean the government," the Express Tribune quoted Sharif, as saying.
Sharif asked the media to be more responsible.
He said that people have told him several times that they feels as if Pakistan is moving backwards on seeing the news channels despite doing good job in the offices.
