Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has written a letter wishing External Affairs Minister of India Sushma Swaraj speedy recovery, a source said.
Swaraj was discharged from the AIIMS hospital on December 19 after undergoing a kidney transplant surgery.
According to the statement from the hospital, Swaraj who underwent kidney transplant operation on December 10, has shown steady recovery.
"Her postoperative recovery was closely monitored by a Team of Transplant Surgeons, Physicians (Nephrologist, Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, Pulmonologist) and Anaesthesist & Critical care expert, Physiotherapist, Resident doctors and Specialised Transplant Nurses," the AIIMS spokesperson said in a statement.
Swaraj, who has been suffering from diabetes for almost 20 years, was admitted to AIIMS on November 7th.
The 64-year-old BJP leader was admitted to AIIMS in April also when she underwent treatment for pneumonia and other health issues.
However, despite being in the hospital Swaraj was seen keeping track of the news reports and responding when she could.
