The Shiv Sena today held a massive protest over perpetual reports of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops in Jammu's Poonch and Akhnoor sectors.

They also burnt a Pakistani flag as a form of protest.

One Border Security Force (BSF) soldier and an Indian Army soldier have lost their lives at the International Border and LOC, due to over ten Ceasefire violations in the past few days.

The Shiv Sena activists said that no dialogue should be exchanged with Pakistan until the firing stops, on the occasion of Vijay Diwas.

Each year, since 1999, the ' Vijay Diwas' is celebrated on 26 July to pay homage to the soldiers who laid down their lives fighting for their motherland.
