Janata Dal (United) MLA Shoaib Iqbal on Wednesday alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas is hand-in-glove with the BJP and RSS, and asked former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to remove him from his party.
"We saw that in news channels and newspapers. We got to know that he is with the BJP, and even with the RSS. Kumar Vishwas will try to break the AAP and we were already feeling that he was never with the AAP. I would say to Arvind Kejriwal that Kumar Vishwas should be eliminated from the party immediately, otherwise it would give a very wrong message," Iqbal told ANI here.
The JD (U) MLA claimed that he has names of those AAP MLAs approached by Kumar Vishwas in order to aid the BJP form the Government in Delhi.
"I have names of MLAs to whom Kumar Vishwas is talking. In the next two to four days, it will come out in open that Kumar Vishwas is talking to AAP MLAs in the BJP. If Kejriwal will not eliminate him then we would doubt his character as well," he added.
According to reports, Vishwas had during an interview described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a pro-active leader. He has also said his praise should not be seen as inappropriate, despite their membership of rival parties.
Vishwas had also criticized the functioning of the Aam Aadmi Party during the interview.
