Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday told the Congress Party that it should channelise its aggression towards serving the public rather than finding excuses repeatedly to disturb proceedings in parliament.
"Aggression should be there to serve the public, what is the point of showing aggression to disturb the house," Naidu asked media here after the Congress repeatedly stalled proceedings in both houses over the controversial remarks made by a Haryana minister with regard to suicides being committed by farmers across the country.
When questioned about Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's profound aggression, Naidu said, "Some people, for a change, speak occasionally. For the media, it is probably newsworthy, but not
for us."
During Zero Hour on Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi asked the government pointedly whether the nation's farmers were part of its Make in India initiative, and whether they had not Made in India already.
