British millionaire Shrien Dewani, who is facing trial for the murder of his wife Anni Dewani in Cape Town, has reportedly admitted that his computer was logged onto a male gay website hours after his wife's body was found.
The formal admissions document stating the same was handed by his lawyer Francois van Zyl on Monday and was not read out in court, reported News 24.
The document said that Dewani confirmed that he had registered for the "Gaydar" website and "Recon," a website for men into fetish gear, in 2004.
He admitted that his computer was logged onto the website in the early hours of the morning on 15 November 2010 and in the evening too. His online identity had also logged on to the same website on the evening of November 16.
Prior to his wife's murder, Dewani had logged on to Gaydar while waiting for a flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town with Anni on November 12, 2010.
He deactivated both accounts on November 21 2010.
