The two-time bronze medallist at World Championship claimed a 21-13, 18-21, 21-14 win over Yufei in a 54-minute thriller to secure a berth in the last four.
Meanwhile, B. Sai Praneeth bowed out of the tournament after going down 16-21, 23-21, 13-21 against Malaysia's Goh Soon Huat in men's singles.
