Sia has released 'Alive,' the first single from her upcoming album 'This Is Acting,' which she co-wrote with Adele.

In a recent interview, the 39-year-old singer revealed that she has co-written her latest hit with the 'Someone Like You' hit-maker and Canadian musician Tobias Jesso Jr, adding that the song was originally meant for Adele's long waited third album, News.com au reports.

However, the 'Rolling In The Deep' hit-maker rejected the track at the last minute.

The 'Elastic Heart' hit maker added "It's about Adele's life, so I now sing a song from Adele's perspective."

Sia's new track is currently available to purchase via iTunes, Amazon and Google Play and its release date is yet to be announced.
