Harman Singh, the man who removed his turban to help an injured child, got paid back for his good deed with an extremely sweet surprise.

The 22-year-old business student, had a teary eye when he was gifted furniture including a new couch, matching chairs, coffee table and a new bed by the team of TVNZ news station, reported People magazine.

Previously, when the news station interviewed Singh, the viewers noticed that his apartment lacked furniture which led TVNZ to team up with a local furniture shop to help Singh get a proper outfitted home.

Expressing his joy, Singh, who is originally from India, thanked the team and said that it was the biggest surprise of his life.

Singh became an Internet star when a photo of him placing his turban under an injured child's head went viral. People from all over the world were touched when he broke his religious protocol and removed his turban to help a 6-year-old child who was hit by a car on May 15.
