The founder of online black market Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht, has been sentenced to life in prison.
According to BBC, the prosecutors have said that the website sold illegal drugs worth more than USD 200 million.
The 30-year-old was convicted by a Manhattan jury, which found him guilty of charges including conspiracy to commit drug trafficking, money laundering and computer hacking.
Ulbricht had earned about USD 18 million through a million drug deals that took place on Silk Road.
