Simon Cowell to make movies for kids

Simon Cowell is now moving into children's movie business, it has been revealed.

The 54-year-old 'X Factor' judge's company, Syco Entertainment, has joined hands with Animal Logic Entertainment, Australian animation and special effects house, to develop music-based films, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

Syco's film division has 10 music-related projects in development right now and Zareh Nalbandian, Animal Logic CEO, who will head the endeavor along with Jason Lust and Syco's Adam Milano, said that the project was a perfect fit.

Cowell said that the music of the project, which has already been taken by Sony Pictures and is anticipated to release in 2016, has to be current.

Meanwhile, the partnered collaboration will be coming up with three more projects.
