Indian shuttler P.V Sindhu displayed an imperious form as she brushed aside her Chinese opponent Wang Shixian to advance to the second round of the French Open Superseries in the women's event on Wednesday.
Sindhu took just 36 minutes to beat Shixian 21-10, 21-11 in the thrilling opening round contest.
In the men's singles, H.S Prannoy bounced back brilliantly from a set down to beat Lin Dan of China 14-21, 21-11, 21-17 to advance to the next round.
