Zhanna Nemtsova, daughter of slain Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov, has reportedly said that President Vladimir Putin must bear "responsibility" for his murder.

According to the BBC, Zhanna believed that Putin was "politically" responsible for the murder.

Nemtsov, a former deputy prime minister and veteran liberal politician, was shot dead on February 27 while walking with his girlfriend near the Kremlin.

Putin condemned the murder and vowed to nab the killers.
