Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday clarified his remark that he made on Twitter and said that the snake jibe was aimed at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which miserably failed in fulfilling its communal agenda in the state.
Nitish alleged that the BJP's thought process is 'poisonous'.
"I have very clearly clarified in my reply that my sole agenda is development of Bihar. I have assured the people and written a couplet by Raheem...I have written that BJP's poisonous thoughts and poison-like presence did not affect me in any manner. The BJP failed in fulfilling its communal agenda in Bihar, so they shouldn't worry about any situation" Kumar told the media here.
"Till the time, I am here I will not deviate from the agenda of development and the rule of law," he added.
The Bihar Chief Minister has launched a new engagement initiative on Twitter '#AskNitish'.
The users can direct any question to him. They can tweet using the hashtag #AskNitish and the Chief Minister would be addressing their queries every Tuesday and Saturday.
This public engagement initiative by Nitish, who has joined hands with his former adversary Lalu Prasad Yadav for the upcoming Bihar assembly polls, is aimed at reaching out to the young demography present on social media.
