Bollywood's Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha, who would be seen doing action scenes in the upcoming film 'Akira,' has branded her co-stars Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn as her "action gurus".
On being asked who is her favourite action co-star, 29-year-old Sonakshi said, "Dabangg is Salman, Rowdy is Akshay and Sardar is Ajay. The past five years I've been working with these guys and I have learned only 'maar peet' from them," while interacting with media at the trailer launch of 'Akira'.
"It's truly been a pleasure watching them do the action on screen. I love action films, I love to be a part of them and I'm really happy, thankful, grateful that I could be doing the action in this film myself," she added.
The 'Tevar' actress, who would seen essaying the role of a journalist in the film, has inflicted several injuries while filming the movie.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the movie, a remake of the Tamil film 'Mouna Guru' also stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Mithun Chakraborty.
The film is slated to hit theatres on September 2.
