New Delhi, Feb. 8(ANI): Condemning the Jet Airways decision of suspending its cabin crew for letting Sonu Nigam take over the in-flight announcement system during a flight, singer Kavita Krishnamurthy said that suspension was a harsh decision.
In an exclusive interview to ANI, the 58-year-old singer said they should have gave a warning before taking the action, adding that suspension was too harsh decision.
"I think it was a happy occasion, I wish they would have given a warning and not suspended. Suspension is too harsh a decision," she said.
Recently on Jet Airways flight, Sonu Nigam sang a medley of songs, following which, the airline suspended the entire cabin crew.
The 'Bole Chudiyan' songstress, who has worked with a variety of music composers, including R. D. Burman, Hamsalekha and A. R. Rahman, was spotted at a musical night 'Basant Ke Rang' held in the national capital.
Others who performed at the event were singer Shabbir Kumar, and 'Uttaran' famed TV star Sreejita among others.
