Sony's PlayStation 4 console has reportedly hit another milestone passing the 7 million units sold worldwide nearly a month after the company announced that it had sold 6 million units.
PlayStation 4 has reportedly been racking up sales steadily since its November launch, as it has reached 7 million units mark sold globally as of April 6.
According to Cnet, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House said that the PS4 journey has just begun, and although they are still facing difficulties in keeping up with the strong demand worldwide, they remain steadfast in their commitment to meet the needs of their customers.
The company also reportedly revealed that the PS4 software has reached 20.5 million copies sold worldwide, including both retail and its PlayStation store, as of April 13.
The PS4 is currently available in 72 countries, with one of the larger additions being Japan, where Sony began selling its console on February 22, the report added.
