One of the operators of the Spanish train, which derailed on Thursday claiming 80 lives, has posted photos of the train's speedometer on Facebook and bragged about it going too fast before the fatal accident.
The New York Post reports that Francisco Jose Garzon Amo posted a screenshot of the train's speedometer reading 200 km/h.
Garzon is in custody at Santiago de Compostela's main hospital where he is recovering from minor injuries, the report added.
An analysis of video images has suggested that the train may have been traveling at twice the speed limit along that curved stretch of track.
The Galician government said that 94 other passengers have been hospitalized in six regional hospitals.
