Two policemen were killed and a third was injured in the national capital after a speeding car rammed into a police barricade on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred in the Kalindi Kunj area of southeast Delhi. According to reports, the police flagged down a speeding cab when the driver, instead of stopping, tried to flee the scene and in the process, rammed into a barricade.
The cab driver, Hemant, has been arrested under sections 304A (causing death due to negligence) and 279 (rash driving) of the IPC.
The injured head constable has been admitted to hospital.
