World number two golfer Jordan Spieth held his nerve to claim the US Open title, his second major of the year, in a dramatic finish at the Chambers Bay on Sunday.
The American finished on five-under 275 after Dustin Johnson squandered another chance at a first major title when he three-putted the last from 12 feet, the BBC reported.
The 21-year-old, who had won the Masters in April, became the youngest player to win two career majors since 1922.
Meanwhile, Johnson and Louis Oosthuizen finished second place at four-under par.
