Continuing to cement its place as the leader in music streaming, Spotify has hit a mile stone of 50 million followers, becoming the first of its kind.
The Swedish streaming music platform took to their Twitter handle and posted a photo thanking all their 50 million subscribers, to mark this huge occasion.
They captioned the pic, "Thank you to our 50 million subscribers. #Spotify50"
According to Forbes, the company acquired 40 million paying customers back in September 2016, which means it was able to add ten million new fans in less than half a year.
Last March, which is less than a year ago, Spotify announced its 30 million paying users.
