Tottenham Hotspur coach Tim Sherwood has insisted that he is 'one million per cent' confident that Gareth Bale will stay on at the club this summer.
Although the Welsh star is a 60 million-pound target for Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United, however, Sherwood, who is in charge of Spurs' youth team, said that Bale is very happy at Tottenham, the Daily Star reports.
According to Sherwood, Bale has a good relationship with manager Andre Villas-Boas and is also on a good footing with his teammates, who, he added, show the winger the respect that he deserves, which he also gives back in spades.
Stating that he sees him on the training ground daily at White Hart Lane, Sherwood said that he does not see Bale beating down the door trying to get a move, adding that although there would be a number of clubs wanting to take Bale, he will not take any decision lightly as he has good advisors.
Although Sherwood admitted that there is still time for Bale to go overseas or to another Premier League club, he added that he is of the opinion that Bale should stay at Tottenham.
