Premier League Champions Manchester United may be also in the race to acquire Spurs striker Gareth Bale along with Real Madrid, as Tottenham is seemingly more receptive to the English Champions, after being frustrated by negotiations with the Spanish side.

According to The Independent, United have not yet made a firm offer for Bale and, as the transfer window enters its last three weeks and at a time when Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is beginning to doubt whether the Spaniards actually possess the funds.

The impediments to United securing Bale include Spurs' valuation, which is believed to be around 110 million pounds, the report said.

Moyes said that the club was moving forward to make new signings and every day as one gets closer, the transfer deadline gets closer too, but he was happy with a lot of good English players in the team.
