Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan celebrated Eid with his family and friends in Mumbai on Friday, and said he is delighted with the grand opening that his latest release 'Chennai Express' has received.
"Every Eid is special for me, as I get time to meet my friends and spend time with my family. It is very special for the fact that I read Namaz with the family and meet friends in the evening. I am going to do that and I am happy to celebrate the festival," Khan said.
Khan, who addressed the media along with 'Chennai Express' Director Rohit Shetty, said he was happy to see that his latest release was doing well in theatres but wanted to wait for a few days before judging the success of the film.
"It's nice. I thank Allah that the film is doing well. For a film like 'Chennai Express', or any big film or any big star or big Director, I think it is better to wait three to four days after the film is released. The film has started off well. I am happier that people are liking it and most of the people are liking it, that is a happy sight that everybody is celebrating and laughing and having a good time in the theatres," Khan added.
'Chennai Express', produced by Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment, features Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
