In the last two-and-a half decades, the Badshaah of Bollywood has been a heartthrob of millions and to add four moons to his ever-increasing popularity, there have been innumerable awards beautifying his 'Mannat'. Ever wondered how many?
The answer is 267!
yes, you read that right.
Recently, at the unveiling of the Indian Academy Awards, Shah Rukh Khan revealed the number and opened up about how any award means a 'collective applause' to him and so is significant.
SRK began by saying, "I have said this openly, sometimes it might be taken wrongly but I love being a movie star, I love being an actor, I love winning awards for my work. You reach a stage in your life as an actor and now I have been working for some years where some kind of recognition- all artists whether you are a poet, singer, painter, dancer, choreographer, you just want applause."
When quizzed if he has ever counted the trophies, SRK said, "I never want to limit them but I have been told that I have got 267."

King Khan even admitted that he gets sad when he doesn't win an award.
"Somewhere down the line any award that I have received I have always thought of it as collective applause for the work I have done in a year or for a specific film. So yes I do keep tabs on awards and I want to keep winning them and I try very hard to get them and when I don't them I get extremely sad.
