After winning it big at the IIFA 2016 with 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' as the 'Best Picture,' film-maker Kabir Khan said that actors need to push boundaries once they achieve stardom instead of taking a safe route.
"When you think of doing something, people don't question you much. They feel the other person knows something, so he should be allowed to do it. So I think, at that point we should push the boundary even more. I always had a complaint against our industry that when people turn successful, they start playing safe. But I feel when you are successful; you should push the boundaries even more as people will allow you at that point," he said while interacting with the media post event.
"Let there be failure, but you will never be able to do it unless you use the right moment," added the 'Phantom' director.
Kabir further expressed his satisfaction over the fact that 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' could spread a strong message to the whole world.
"Salman has strong belief in some things, like India's secular fabric, composite culture. But that was not articulated in movies. So, if such things are said with a superstar, then their reach is wide. I am glad it happened with 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan.' Our message got spread in the whole world," he said.
