Reeva Steenkamp's mother is reportedly relying on financial help in order to attend Oscar Pistorius' murder trial as she is running low on money.
The African National Congress' Women's League is reportedly funding June Steenkamp's lodging and travel costs so that she can listen to the dreadful details of her daughter's death.
According to the Mirror, June has been devotedly attending the court in Pretoria, South Africa, where the Paralympic runner Pistorius is facing trial for shooting dead his model girlfriend on February 14 last year.
However, despite being a regular at their daughter's murder trial, the Steenkamp family is reportedly struggling to pay bills, including healthcare costs after Reeva's father Barry Steenkamp, who is a horse trainer, suffered two strokes in the weeks before the trial began.
A source has reportedly revealed that the ANC provides June with spending money as well as pays her food and lodging costs and airfares.
June had reportedly admitted last year that their family was struggling financially in the run-up to the 29-year-old model's death.
June said that Reeva regularly helped them with food and utility bills, the report added.
