South African fast-bowler Dale Steyn, who was sidelined for two months due to shoulder injury, is keen on playing some games before the World T20 to be played in India next month.
According to Sport24, Dale Steyn's agent Dave Rundle said that the former will return to competitive cricket in a club game in Cape Town, where he will feature for a Western Province Cricket Association against St Augustine Cricket Club in Cape Town on Saturday.
Rundle said that the fast bowler would play in the first day of the two-day fixture. He added that the match would provide him with good opportunity to fulfill his desire to play before the T20 pinnacle event.
The 32-year-old, who has not appeared in international cricket for South Africa after being ruled out during the first Test against England in December, has been included in the World T20 squad despite being doubtful.
The ICC World T20 is slated to be held from March 8, with South Africa playing their opening match against England on March 18.
