Tottenham Hotspur player Erik Lamela has insisted that he will justify his 30 million-pound price tag despite his struggling start at the White Hart Lane club.
The former Roma ace, who was tipped as the player to fill the void left by Gareth Bale's departure, had joined Spurs in the closing stages of the summer transfer window in the world-record deal, although he has struggled to make it off the Tottenham bench.
However, Metro.co.uk reports that the winger has vowed to finally prove himself if the club's fans are willing to be patient, adding that although he feels good at the club, he is still getting used to the atmosphere as English football is very different from the Italian game; more physical as compared to the tactical Serie A.
Stating that he needs a bit of rhythm, more training and some more games to show his true form, Lamela also said that he believes that the English football will be very suited to his game, adding that his killer moment is just around the corner.
The Argentine international showed flashes of brilliance during Tottenham's Capital One Cup clash with Hull in midweek, but his missed penalty in the shootout was a big setback, the report added.
