All-rounder Stuart Binny has been included in the Indian Test squad, ahead of the second Test of the three-match series against Sri Lanka, which starts from Thursday in Colombo.
Confirming the news, the BCCI said that Binny was an addition to the 15-man unit , who can bat at number six and be a fifth bowling option.
The 31-year-old has represented India in three Tests till now, which were all against England at a batting average of 23.60.
India had earlier suffered a shocking 63-run defeat against Sri Lanka at Galle in the first match.
