"Girls are the treasure of a Nation. There are lot of debates and talks on Gender Equality or Gender Stereotype during the International Conferences or Seminars but here at Amitasha, they are practiced at ground level. A Law or Act alone cannot ensure gender equality; the need to provide comprehension education to the female students along with regular curriculum that will help them in long run." she opined.

Appreciating the Chefs, Faculty and students, Dr. Amita Chauhan said that the workshop provided girl students an exposure to the working environment of a professional kitchen.

The Chefs not only taught the cookery skills to students but also encouraged and motivated them to cook well. The dishes presented by the students had a similar taste to that of the food in 5 star hotels.

Certificates were presented to the students by Rashmi Singh, Amita Chauhan, Sapna Chauhan, Vice-Chairperson AmiOwn and other eminent personalities.
