Cindy Crawford has advised new moms to give themselves almost a year-long window to shed the pregnancy weight.
During an interview with HuffPost Live's Nancy Redd, the supermodel revealed that she gave herself a year to lose the weight and has advised young mothers to not stress themselves out about it, at least for the initial nine-months after delivery.
She acknowledged the frustration many women feel when they see other new mothers shed the weight quickly and confessed that even she had to work for the body that she has now.
However, Crawford added that she thinks that shedding weight right after pregnancy shouldn't be the focus of a new mother's attention.
