External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj arrived in Seoul today on a two-day visit to South Korea to attend the eighth India-South Korea joint commission meeting.
She is reportedly accompanied by senior officials from the ministries of Defence, shipping, Commerce and Industry and External affairs.
During her visit, Sushma will meet her Korean counterpart Yun Byung-se, Korean President Park Geun-hye, Minister of National Defence, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, National Security Advisor and leading Korean industrialists.
Her visit will focus on increased Korean participation in the "Make in India" programme.
The External Affairs Minister will also seek to boost cooperation in areas like nuclear energy, trade and investment, defence and ship building.
