Ousted Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav on Wednesday said that the 'Swaraj Samvad' meeting, which is being seen as an effort by the ousted duo to garner support from like-minded people within the AAP, was not organised by the latter.

"They are absolutely correct to say that Swaraj Samvad was not organized by the AAP, but that does not make it illegal or anti-party. It is party leadership's prerogative to take a decision, and I believe that they will first read the AAP's Constitution before taking action," Yadav told ANI.

"Today, we will finalize the plan of action and also work out as to how to take this Swaraj Abhiyan forward," he added.

Ousted Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rebels Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan had on Tuesday held a 'Samwad Swaraj' meeting here on Tuesday.

The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will be meeting today to decide the fate of rebel leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan and their supporters.

According to reports, the PAC is expected to refer the cases of Yadav and Bhushan to the AAP disciplinary committee of its Delhi unit after the duo organized a Swaraj Samvad convention at Gurgaon on April 14 and announced a new group called 'Swaraj Abhiyan'.
