While addressing a Swaraj Abhiyan in Ludhiana, ousted Aam Aadmi Party leader Prashant Bhushan on Sunday said that the campaign would not shape into a political party in haste and added that an analysis may be done on its democratic functioning before taking a decision in the future.
"Swaraj Abhiyan will not take the shape of political party. We can do analysis on it after two-three years and will think upon it if it will work in a democratic manner," Bhushan said.
"Swaraj Abhiyan is a campaign of the principles on which AAP was founded. The principle was to give an alternative to the politics of nation. Swaraj Abhiyan was initiated to channelize the energy of youth in right direction for the welfare of country," he added.
Bhushan had earlier last month held a 'Swaraj Samwad ' meeting in the national capital along with Yadav.
During the meeting, the duo, along with Shanti Bhushan, attacked the AAP leadership for not fulfilling promises which it made earlier as a new political outfit.
They claimed that the party's senior leaders got dictatorial and started imposing rigid orders on people who do not share their opinion.
The members also said that they want to form an organization which is transparent and completely works on the basis of 'Swaraj' and added that announcing a new political party would again face the same challenges which AAP is facing today.
