A Swedish court has upheld an arrest warrant against Julian Assange after dismissing a challenge by the Wikileaks founder who is wanted by Swedish authorities for an investigation into alleged sex crimes.
Assange, who has termed the allegations false and politically motivated, has sought refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy, reported the BBC.
If he goes to Sweden, he fears he would be extradited to the United States to face charges of leaking classified government documents.
