Swiss teenager Belinda Bencic bounced back from a set down as she stunned world number one Serena Williams to reach the final of the Rogers Cup in Toronto.
The 18-year-old overcame Serena 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 in an enthralling contest that lasted two hours and 28 minutes, the BBC reported.
Bencic will now take on Romanian second seed Simona Halep in the summit clash at Toronto.
Serena, who is aiming for the calendar Grand Slam at the US Open, was handed her second defeat in 45 matches this year.
