Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri has announced an end to his party's two month old protest demonstrations in the federal capital which sparked a political crisis in the nation.
At the same time, PAT leader said that now the protests would be demonstrated across the country which he said would be the 'next stage of revolution'.
According to Dawn, Qadri told his supporters that the protests had served its purpose and awakened the nation.
He asked his supporters to pack their bags and head towards their homes with the spirit of victory.
However, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan maintains his party protests and said that it will not come to an end until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigns.
Meanwhile, Qadri dismissed allegations that he struck some sort of compromise deal with Sharif's government.
