The Taliban have claimed responsibility of the Kabul suicide bombing that took place near the Supreme Court.
Two civilians were killed and 51 others injured in the attack.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday addressed the public and quelled fears that the country could collapse, amid growing concerns over the security situation, particularly in some parts of the country.
According to TOLONews, all victims were civilians and they were rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.
A witness said that three other insurgents tried to enter the building after the suicide bomber detonated his explosives.
The police gunned down one gunman while the two others fled the scene, said witnesses.
