In Tamil Nadu, fishermen in Pudukottai district announced indefinite strike from Wednesday urging the immediate release of fishermen and their boats by Sri Lanka.
Sri Lankan Navy apprehended 49 fishermen from Tamil Nadu yesterday and detained their twelve fishing boats.
