Taylor Swift fangirls over buddy Ed Sheeran's two new singles

Pop star Taylor Swift who has never shied away from showering praise and love on her close friends, once again showed her adorable side, as she visibly lost it on Instagram over close buddy Ed Sheeran's new singles.

Posting a screenshot from Sheeran's Instagram account, where he teased his two new singles, Swift wrote saying "OH MY GOD. OKAY ITS HAPPENING. EVERYBODY STAY CALM."

The all caps clearly indicated her level of excitement over the upcoming songs by the musician, who took an almost two-year hiatus to focus on his music and went completely off the grid, especially social media.

Several other stars echoed Swift's enthusiasm as actor Ruby Rose, who is part of Swift's 'squad', posted in the comments thread below the post saying, "I CANT STAY CALM I CANT".

Meanwhile, popular American blogger Perez Hilton also commented on the post, joining other musicians and celebs in echoing Swift's excitement about the ginger singer's upcoming music.

Sheeran ended a near-two year hiatus from music by releasing two new singles, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", on Friday.

Sheeran began teasing his upcoming singles on Instagram and Twitter by posting little clips and snippets of his songs.

"Cause I've been away for a bit here's two singles rather than one", the 25-year-old Grammy and BRIT Award-winner posted on Twitter.

Meanwhile, according to Hilton's blog, Sheeran stopped by BBC's Radio 1 Breakfast on Friday morning to promote his two brand-new tracks - Castle on the Hill and Shape of You - and also reportedly promoted Taylor's new material in the process.

Sheeran has also given fans a little taste of the forthcoming musical goodness through Snapchat.

The songs are Sheeran's first since he released "Photograph" in May 2015.
